Jordan brown 6’5 Northside HS 2016 F

Converse Elite Invitational – Brown showcased that he is an all around skilled player. Very effective in pick and roll situations and averaged 15 ppg. He also showcased that he is a solid rebounder and understands how to run the lanes.  Has a nice touch around the basket. Has the ability to knock down the mid range jump-shot on a consistent basis.

Improvements- Needs to improve his defense in the post.

Rating- Division II Prospect

Nate Brooks 6’7 Stratford Academy 2017 

Converse Elite- Brooks played very well defensively in the post and controlled the boards.  Very athletically built and has good speed in the open court. Lots of potential in this kid because of his size and speed alone. Very high ceiling if he puts in the work.

Improvements- To play at the next level, Brooks is going to have to develop his game offensively and extend his attack to the perimeter. Ball handling, footwork, and shooting is a must.

Rating- Division One Prospect

Schools of Interest- Wake Forest, UGA, and GA Tech are showing interest

Mike Hardy 6’3 Lagrange High 2016

 

 Converse Elite- Hardy was very effective rebounding and scoring down-low. Has a knack for finding the loose ball and good timing on his rebounding and tip-ins.  Good athleticism and is not afraid of contact. Averaged 15 ppg and 9 rebounds during the weekend .

Improvements- Must improve ball handling and develop a consistent mid range jump shot.

Rating- Division II prospect

Mitchell Langley 6’2 Vestavia Hills 2017 

Converse Elite Invitational- Langley was very effective rebounding the ball and initiating the fast break offense. Finished well in traffic and was a good three point shooter in pick and pop situations. Showcased great footwork and always was in a position to make a play for his team.  Rarely takes plays off. Resemblance of Chicago Bull’s Joakim Noah. Does all the dirty work on the basketball court.

Improvements- Must improve ball handling skills and develop strength to be a better defensive player .

Connor Heyward Peachtree Ridge HS 6’1 2017

Converse Elite Invitational- Heyward showcased his ability to shoot the three point consistently and was very good on ball defender.  Great defense awareness and anticipates well. Plays the passing lanes like a pro and forced a lot of turnovers

Improvements- Needs to improve ball handling and shooting off the dribble.

Rating- Lower Division One,

Denier Brown Hiram High school 2017 

Converse Elite Invitational – Brown showcased that he has a high ceiling and a lot of potential. Averages 15 ppg and has a nice basketball frame that will be effective as Brown develops. He showcased that he understands the game and has a natural feel to it. Very effective rebounding the basketball

Improvements- Needs to finish plays in traffic better. Also needs to improve his ball handling.
