Kaelon Harris 6’3 Mundys Mill HS 2016

Converse Elite Invitational- Harris showcased that he understands that he is a big boy guard and powered his way through opposing defenses. Harris is very quick with the basketball and has a first step that will blow by most defenders. When in traffic, Harris uses his upper body strength to finish plays under duress. Good ball handling skills and very competitive. Rarely took plays off. Harris averaged 22 ppg and has a good understanding of his role as a point guard.

Improvements- Most of Harris’ points came from inside the arc. Needs to develop and improve his three point consistency.

Rating- Division One Prospect

Schools of Interest- Wake forest ,USC , Tennessee tech , and covenant college have shown a strong interest. 


Derieko Smith 5″10 LaGrange High School

Converse Elite Invitational – Smith showcased that he is a high volume  consistent three point shooter . Smith is very deadly in transition and is almost automatic with his jump shot. Good speed and quickness, and sees the court very well. Average 20 ppg and was one of the better three point shooting guards in the tournament.

Improvements- Smith lack of size hurts him when he tries to take the ball inside. He is going to have to develop a floater or find ways to score by creating shots for him self. To play point guard at the next level Smith is going to have to improve his ball-handling and become a better leader. Must develop upper body strength and improve his explosiveness.

Rating- Division II Prospect

Laperion Perry 5’8 Lagrange HS 2017

Converse Elite Invitational – Perry was another guard from the Warriors Elite who was solid from the three point line. Perry is a good spot up three point shooter in transition and also displayed he was a feisty defensive player. Perry forced a lot of steals that led to easy points for his team. Averaged 16 ppg.

Improvements- Perry is going to have to develop into being a pure point guard to play at the next level. He is going to have to limit his turnovers and make better basketball decisions on the court.

Rating- Division II

Zach Cook Norcross HS 2017

Converse Elite- Cook displayed his ability to run the offense and his high basketball IQ. When left open, Cook made defenders pay with his jump shot. Cook also displayed his ability to score off the pick and roll and has good court vision. Pushes tempo and very patient with his attack.

Improvements- Cook is going to have to become a better defender.


Rating- Lower Division I, Mid Major, Division II prospect

Schools of Interest-  Alabama, Alabama state. Rice



 Matthew Rickman 5’11 Hoover HS

Converse- Rickman was sensattional all weekend long with his guard play. Rickman showcased his basketball IQ, speed in the open court, ball-handling skills, and his consistency with his jump shot. He was vital to the Alabama Premier tournament win and when his team needed a big shot, Rickman did not shy away. Averaged 14 ppg and 6 assist.

Improvements- Had trouble finishing plays, may need to improve his upper body strength and lateral quickness.


Rating- Lower Division I, Mid Major, Division II prospect
