Atlanta Invitational Tournament- Latrina showcased that she is a very dynamic guard who can push the tempo. Latrinia has the strength and quickness to be a solid on ball defender.  Averages 18 ppg last season and is a volume scorer. Has the quickness and ability to blow by defenders to get to the basket.

 

 

Improvements- Latrina has a lot of game, but her decision making skills are very questionable. During the tournament Latrina made questionable passes in transition and took horrible shots.

Prospect Rankings – Lower Division One Prospect

Marisa snodgrass westminster christian academy 2019

 

Atlanta Invitational Tournament- Marisa was sensational all weekend long and fun to watch. She showcased that she has the ability to knock down the long range jump shot and play solid defense. She is a very effective team defender and understands how to play without the ball, find her spot and has a lot of confidence in her jump shooting ability. Marisa also showcased that she is very effective during transition.

 

Improvements- Marisa needs to improve her strength for finishing plays in traffic and ball handling skills. Marisa needs to do a better job of creating space with her handles and handle the ball during the press.

Prospect- Lower Division One, Division II prospect

Tarica Worney, 5’11, Triton High School, 16 ppg, 2016,

Atlanta Invitational Tournament- Worney showcased that she is very effective finding the lanes in transition and scoring down low. Tarica also displayed that she is a tough rebounder and very athletic wing forward. Very fast in the open court

Improvements- Needs to develop an offensive game and extend it to  the perimeter.

QyiNesha Pettway 6’2 2017 Farmville Central High school 

Atlanta Invitational Tournament- Pettway was one of the better bigs in the tournament during the weekend. Very dynamic play maker and wing forward. Has the ball handling skills to play the point forward position, and is a very aggressive scorer. Averaged 15 ppg and 17 rebounds, QuiNesha was in total beast mode throughout the weekend. Very versatile and skilled player. Very elusive and smooth getting through traffic

Improvements- Pettway showcased she has the ability to get to the rim but needs to be more consistent with her outside shooting. Also needs to improve her on ball defense.

Prospect Ranking- Division One Prospect

Duke and UNC are showing strong interest.

Briana Hickson 6” South Gwinnett High 2017

Atlanta Invitational- Hickson showcased that she is a very solid rebounder and has a very smooth release  on her 15 ft jumpshot. Hickson is still developing but her size and athleticism can’t be coached. She has a very huge upside to her game.

Improvements- Needs to improve her speed and ball handling skills, must extend her game to the perimeter. Also needs to develop her strength and learn to finish plays with contact and finish plays around the rim.

Prospect Ranking- Very Raw athlete, but does have the intagibles to be a division one prospect
